"The Turkmen Alabay – The Pride of Our People and a Centuries-Old Heritage"
A discussion titled "The Turkmen Alabay – The Pride of Our People and a Centuries-Old Heritage" was held at the Dovletmammed Azadi City Library. During the event, it was discussed in detail that the Turkmen Alabay is a reflection of a thousand-year-old historical and cultural heritage, national values, and spiritual world. It was emphasized that the Turkmen Alabay, alongside the Akhal-Teke horses and our exquisite carpets, stands as one of the greatest treasures that our people have contributed to world culture. Participants noted that for millennia, the Alabay has been a shepherd’s closest companion, a reliable guardian of the hearth and sacred borders, and that the Day of the Turkmen Alabay is widely celebrated in our country at the state level every year in late October. In conclusion, words of gratitude were expressed to our Hero Arkadag and our Hero Serdar Arkadagly, who have created all the necessary conditions for us to uphold the principles of honesty of our Turkmen ancestors and to revive our cultural heritage and traditions.
