"Books – a source of knowledge"
The Dovletmamat Azadi Library in Arkadag and the Arkadag TV channel jointly organized a discussion on the topic "Books – a source of knowledge." During the discussion, it was noted that the Turkmen people highly value books, science, and education. Therefore, reading books and acquiring knowledge is considered a noble principle among our people. This is clearly evident from the numerous manuscripts and literary heritage of our thinkers. This proves that books and reading play a huge role in the education of generations. The presence of manuscripts and ancient books in our heritage deserves special mention, as these values reflect the development of science in our land. One of the most revered spiritual values of the Turkmen people in ancient times was books. There are too many examples of their influence to list, because books contain the most important treasure in the world – vocabulary. In the pages of books, we can find descriptions of human life, history, current events, hopes, and goals for the future. At the end of the conversation, they wished good health and long life to our Hero Arkadag, our Hero Serdar Arkadagly, who provides young people with every opportunity to work, create, and live a happy life.
