“Books: The Source of Life”
The Dovletmammat Azadi City Library in Arkadag hosted a tour titled “Books: The Source of Life.” During the tour, students and teachers from Arkadag City’s English-language Specialized Secondary School No. 2 provided a detailed account of the features of the Dovletmammat Azadi City Library, a center for science and education, as well as a number of Turkmen folk tales. It is also important to focus on a child’s upbringing from an early age. Books and games play a significant educational role in fostering good manners in children. From an early age, children love to listen to fairy tales. When choosing books for children, it is especially important that they be illustrated, because when a child picks up a book, the first thing they look at are the pictures inside. These pictures capture the child’s attention and increase their interest and enthusiasm for reading. It is necessary to show them that the number of books they read is increasing day by day and to encourage them. In this way, after a certain period of time, children begin to develop the habit of reading books. Similarly, thanks to books, a child’s vocabulary expands, their understanding deepens, and they become more knowledgeable about many things. Most importantly, the readers were told in detail how their knowledge and manners are growing. At the end of the tour, we expressed our heartfelt praise to our Hero Arkadag, our Hero Serdar Arkadagly, who creates all the conditions necessary for the younger generation to read and learn.
